I recently took a trip to the LA area to visit my sister's family who moved this summer from the Chicago area. We went to an Angels game (thanks Smits farms for the apparel!).
LA beaches do have more salt and surfers than the beaches by Chicagoland.
Both of my roommates came along. Shirley visited her nephew, and Megan spent her 2 week break away from the UNM School of Medicine exploring southern California.
Right when we got back, I purchased this car:
Any guesses on the make/model and reasons for such a big purchase (so obviously out of character?)

Looks like a Jetta, yeah? I'm guessing you got it for some kind of Diesel/vegetable oil thingy?

Speaking of excitement, I will be making my maiden voyage to NM October 7ish. My friend and I are going to the hot air balloon festival (like ya do). If you will be around I would love love love to see you!!!

And I am guessing you made this big purchase because your other car was acting up so you bought this one to make the old one jealous.
Road trip to visit MEE!!!...and maybe other MESP buddies, but naturally I dominate the list. :D
It is a VW Jetta, and it is fully equipped to run on waste veggie oil!! Good work Dee! My old car happens to still run fine, but I decided, after long ponders, that now was the time to switch over to veggie. I still have to work on my filtration system, so right now I'm just using diesel.
Jess, where are you these days? Aren't you graduated now and in your wandering years? you should wander out to NM! :)
